River Rafting on the Mackenzie River

This was by far the funnest part of Sunriver. We went on a half day white water trip down the 42 degree Mackenzie River. It was breathtaking, literally when the water hit it was freezing cold. The water was so clear you could see the rocks on the bottom. Ethan came too and he helped paddle while being bundled up in a sweatshirt rain jacket and a hoodie... Next time we will do the Deschutes river which is about 60 degrees!!!

The henna only lasted one week on my hand. It would have lasted longer on my ankle or foot. Can you come to Spa Night?

I love river rafting! I'm glad you guys had a good time, even if the water was cold.

BRRR! Tina, we have never gone to DL during Halloween time. I've heard it is great, though. I don't know if there will be a lot of people there from Nevada- that happens to be Nevada Day (31st) and kids are out of school for a 4 day weekend. We've gone the first of Nov. and the weather was great and the crowds were low. We've had good luck with low crowds when we go on Tues, Wed, Thurs...those seem like the slower days. Have fun!
