Ethan went to a summer climbing camp at Momentum, he did so good. I feel a great sense of accomplishment that I can show my little boy that there is more to life than Xbox 360. :-)

Time Flies...
Fall is in the air, at least in the evenings. This summer has been amazing, so many fun little trips with family and friends. I had a list of places I wanted to go this summer and we did most of them, we can save the rest for next year. In June we went to our friends Ranch in Silver Reef just North of St. George. It was so nice and relaxing, not to mention beautiful!! We rode dune buggies, swam, star gazed and played like kids again!! Then in July it was back to Lake Powell after a 10 year hiatus. We have some good friends that had never been so I twisted their arm a bit and we were off...to camp....in the heat of July...in a tent...not good.. It was so hot it was a bit miserable at night BUT it was worth it. Lake Powell is so beautiful and dramatic in it's beauty. Ethan and Easton had so much fun and we ate at the Anasazi Restaurant where I worked for a summer in 1994. Then in August we did our family trip with Trig's side of the family. We went north to Glacier National Park. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never really been through Montana. As we drove into the park two places came to mind..Hawaii and Alaska. The mountains were green with waterfalls dotting the hillsides...everywhere I looked I saw waterfalls and wildflowers..it was gorgeous. The glaciers are on their way to being non-existent which is sad in a way...but it will still be a must see. The lodges were rustic with delicious Huckleberry treats everywhere. We saw Mountain Goats and a mama bear and her two cubs...it was just never ending!! I will post a few of my favorite pictures from each trip.
