A few days ago I copy and pasted a new background into my blog, the same exact way I did it last time. This time everything in the left column (all of my links) disappeared!! Anybody know what I did wrong?

You did nothing wrong. The same thing happened to me as well. By the 3rd time, I copied and pasted my links into a Word document and saved them all for the next time I wanted to change! The new border looks great! I hope you are well:)
