"Standing at the overlook within the Bingham Canyon Mine, you can see, hear, and feel the breathtaking and awesome magnitude of the largest man-made excavation on earth." I took the kids up to the copper mine which is about 5 miles West of Daybreak. They loved it. The boys looked through 3-D microscopes to examine rock and mineral samples. We saw exhibits with old mining artifacts and model trucks and then went outside to look at the huge $26,000 tires that last about 9 months...
