I LOVE DAYBREAK!!! We have so many fun amenities and now we have a sand beach at the lake that we can "wade" in. An new park opened this Spring right next to the lake, it is always packed, with a capitol P. We went up the other day with no intention of getting in the water, BUT, it was so hot so go for it!! The kids loved it, Eliza got in up to her head and would have kept going if I wasn't out there pulling on her with my Iphone and keys in one hand...

Diaper Daredevils
We are lucky enough in Daybreak to have one of the top gymnastics groups in Utah, BlackDiamond. They are opening a brand new building in our village center August 17th!! This is Eliza's favorite time of the week. She doesn't do much but run around, I figure she will get there eventually.. She graduated from the diaper daredevils and will advance in the Fall.

Bitter Sweet....
So I found out at the beginning of the month that Amy's husband was to be medically discharged from the army.... Which we were thankful for because he probably would have been ordered to Iraq this Fall. I had several emotions-sad, happy, scared, worried, excited..etc. etc. My best friend was going to be moving out two years early. What would I do without her? Who is this man that has taken her away from me, um her husband maybe? Amy is 4 months pregnant, I told her that she was getting old and really needed to have a baby, I would take care of the baby and she would live with us while Malcolm was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC until 2011. So now he is home and they are moving out in less than two weeks. I am so sad but I knew it would happen sooner or later. Eliza wakes up every morning and ventures downstairs to find Amy. As soon as Amy gets home from work Eliza is in her arms cuddling. Che sara sara.... :-)

The Swell
I love going to San Rafael Swell whenever we go to Price. There's just something about it that I'm drawn too... especially fun memories from high school. I wanted to show Ethan the pictographs on the wall and go for a little hike. The day we were down there it was pouring cats and dogs. There was a wicked storm following us, the kids were screaming, Ethan was yelling at me to drive faster.....it was hilarious!!
